"The property is very nice. The owner answered all the questions and texts. We wanted to start the sauna, but there was no English, he stopped by to start it. Although, it still didn't start and we didn't enjoy it, we would love to stop again and wonder in the forests eating berries. We went to the store and bakery he told us and bought wool sweater that is very warm, sandwiches and coffee, some food and other unnecessary stuff )))) to support local business. "We loved, loved, loved this property. It is really close to the train station. It is an old building, with lots of charm, but well maintained and brought to modern standards. The staff were amazing, and are very proud of their little hotel and its history. If we are ever in Lillehammer again we would definitely make this our home base."

"We visited in summer. The hotel was quiet but still with plenty of atmosphere. It was lovely to have the swimming pool almost to ourselves. We had a very enjoyable three course meal. The chef made sure we had a suitable vegetarian starter and main course. Although we only spent one night on our way elsewhere we were very impressed with the staff, food and amenities."
